The Public Image & Rotaract Summit is a regional working Summit for the whole Rotary family, bringing together Rotarians across generations and Rotaractors to explore public trust, belonging, leadership, communication and lasting impact. The programme combines practical workshops, meaningful dialogue, shared experience and follow-up.

The Summit will take place in Samsun, Türkiye, from 22 to 25 October 2026. Arrivals are on 22 October, the Summit programme runs on 23–24 October, and departures are on 25 October. The main venue is Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Samsun. All programme times are local to Samsun (UTC+3).

The Summit is designed for Rotarians and Rotaractors who want to contribute to Rotary’s future and strengthen the way Rotary is experienced, understood and trusted. It is particularly relevant for Public Image, membership and project leaders, club and district leaders, young Rotarians, emerging leaders, and people interested in stronger club experience and meaningful impact. You do not need to be a Public Image specialist to take part.

The core themes are Public Image as Public Trust, One Rotary, Many Generations, and Create Lasting Impact as Behaviour. Friday morning workshops focus on Rotary Voice and Public Speaking, Inclusive Club Experience, and Project Storytelling and People of Action. The wider programme includes Hakan Şahin’s inspirational keynote, World Polio Day, leadership journeys, audience questions and success stories from across Zone 21B.

The three workshops run in parallel on Friday, 23 October, from 09:15 to 11:15, so participants choose one. Select your preferred workshop in the registration form. The morning begins with a shared introduction at 09:00, and representatives of all three workshops share their outputs from 11:25 to 12:00.

The programme combines an inspirational keynote and presentations with practical workshops, dialogue across generations and opportunities to ask questions. Participants will hear personal Rotary leadership journeys, discover Zone 21B Success Stories and consider ideas and approaches they can take back to their clubs. Follow-up and closing sessions will focus on continued cooperation and next steps.

Saturday, 24 October is World Polio Day. District 2430 leads the introduction from 12:15 to 12:30 and the lunch and World Polio Day activation from 12:30 to 14:00, connecting Rotary’s global commitment to polio eradication with shared action in Samsun.
